I'm about to get a Blu-Ray double disc "rip" (at least is what I think it is) from the "internet". I've always been able to play .mkv files, but this one is a different format: it's a whole bunch of directories containing ".clpi" files , ".mpls" files, ".m2ts" files (these way bigger in size), and a bunch of "cmap" files.
Since it's 2 discs, it sums up to between 80 and 85 GB's (huge). I'm getting from a private tracker, so it will take a big hit on my ratio. Because of that, I need to be absolutely sure I'll be able to play the thing before I get it. Does VLC open the directories (folders) normally? Do I need some other video player? Or will I need to convert it somehow before I play it?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance![]()

VLC Media Player have an function "Open Folder" which should be able to handle an Blu-Ray folder structure! (Click on "Media" then "Open Folder", which will let you browse for and select an folder, locate and select the Blu-Ray folder here).
