I have the halo 2 trailer in Windows Media Player 9 format, so aparrently there is no other really good way to convert it other than m$ movie maker. I opened the file in movie maker, then saved it as 30mbps DV .avi or something like that. (it was the highest quality setting) When I view the video, it comes out in great quality, but in only about 1/4 the size!! It even says it is saving it in 720x480, but it always comes out at 360x240 =/. Got any ideas?
Thx--

Check the WMP settings, the avi is probably the correct size (720*480) but WMP is reducing its size on playback for efficiency (or something!!). There was a thread on these forums recently about this, do a search.

I'll check the settings, but it's got to be 360x240 because I impoted it into Premiere and Premiere reported the resolution as 360x240.
