If "N_m3u8DL-RE" is not in the path, it will try to pick the (obviously bad) one from the path: "which N_m3u8DL-RE".

Also: you need to give the binary executable permissions: "chmod +x N_m3u8DL-RE". Then try: "./N_m3u8DL-RE --help" and if that works, move it to /usr/local/bin (or some other place that's in your path: "echo $PATH").

(And by now I'm able to type N_m3u8DL-RE without making mistakes )

If you don't know how to run python, then I think it's better if you wait for someone from pakistan or with a vpn to help you. Or you can try the other key extractors in the sticky threads.

And I don't expect you to help anymore, man. And that's fine, I completely understand. But just to clear my position;
1. How am I supposed to know that the tool you used to generate the keys is developed by you? You might have shared it here before but as you know I am a newb here.
2. Even if I knew it's your tool, a) the website clearly prohibits for me and others discussing paid services or anything of the sort and even if that was allowed, how do I know if you're even open to such an arrangement? Prior to hiring someone from upwork, I asked it here in the forum, one guy replied, and the reply was "NO CHANCE". So I think it's only reasonable for me to expect you to understand my intentions as well.

Edit: I am still very much inclined to switch if you're open to it. I'd always prefer the guy who actually coded the tool than someone from upwork.

I have tried the best I could.
1. I found it quite complicated as I have no knowledge about this stuff at all.
2. For some reason, my machine is also not being of much help either. I have a mac air 2015 and a) whatever directory I try to open in the terminal, it says access denied although I have the read and write permissions for it and b) widevine (from the sticky threads) only supports windows which I don't have

Thanks, man. I tried it again and turns out the problem is on Chrome's end.
The manifest.json file provided by Widevine is V2 but Chrome needs V3.
Additionally, I am trying to run N-m3u8DL_RE again on my macbook air 2015 monterey 12.7.6.
The binary I'm trying to run is osx-x64 but it says Bad CPU type in executable although I am absolutely certain that I have run this exact same binary on this machine just 3 days back.

Another forum member was kind enough like you to help me with downloading the episodes from ptvflix.
They have downloaded one but they're facing the same paywall issue that you did.
