Hi, I have many F1 DVDs i want to convert properly for playback. I do believe they are all encoded the same way so I've only included one sample. Could anyone tell me what the best settings would be for Handbrake or ffmpeg (I'm only linux so limited to those 2)
Here's some info from MediaInfo.
Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 3 378.853 FPS
Original frame rate : 25.000 FPS
Standard : PAL
Color space : YUV
Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0
Bit depth : 8 bits
Scan type : Interlaced
Scan type, store method : Separated fields (2 fields per block)
Scan order : Top Field First
Thank you!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

b. no clue whats best when using ffmpeg or handbrake, but bwdif and nedi are supported in ffmpeg so I would look into those.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555 -
thanks, I'll check that out, from my understanding, the target FPS should be 50?
