  1. I'm looking for progressive scan Component Video cable that use for Progressive from DVD to HDTV with Y/PB/PR.
i think there are difference between Y/PB/PR and Y/CB/CR. I think the he letter with P is progressive scan and the letter with C is standard color
i've been looking for Y/PB/PR but most of cables are Y/CB/CR.

Does Monstercable series 3 Component video cable(MV3CV-4M) has Y/PB/PR?

There are two forms of component video Y/Pb/Pr and Y/Cb/Cr.

Y/Pb/Pr, used most often with progressive can video devices progressive scan video devices. Separates a video signal into three separate channels using progressive scan (non-interlaced). These channels reduce interference to produce better picture quality. This format can handle 30K of information.

Y/Cb/Cr, used most often with standard interlaced scan video devices. Separates a video signal into three separate channels for better picture quality. This format can handle 15K of information.

there is also professional level of component such as on Beta SP .

the cables used for either Y/Pb/Pr or Y/Cb/Cr are the same though in fact there are 5 wire type Y/Pb/Pr seen also (when a combo RGBHV / Y/Pb/Pr innput is used).
