Hi. Trying to diagnose an issue when converting old VHS tapes to digital. Has anyone encountered a similar issue to what I'm getting on attached?
For reference, this happens for both TV recordings and homemade camera recordings. The issue is intermittent and the same clip might have the issue when recording one day, and when I try and record another day, there is no issue, with the very same clip!
So far, I've tried with two separate VHS devices, and same issue crops up on both. I'm using a Dazzle DVC100 to convert, and OBS software.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Have you tried connecting the VCR directly to the TV using the same cables to see if you can hear it there?
