    Anything would be better than compresspng -

    The tool on this page conducts a type of lossy compression by reducing the available color palette of a PNG.
    Did you try it ? It looks like a gif . Worse than a low quality jpeg . And you have to upload and download images.


    I mentioned pnggauntlet in one of your other thread, posted filesize comparisons . It beat pngcrush and optipng . It's also a GUI, drop and drag. All of the PNG optimizers are very very slow at the highest compression settings, because they use brute force methods. They run through combinations to see which is smaller.
