like the subject says can someone PLEASE Xplaine in the most simplest terms how to burn a .Dat file or Mpeg file to VCD to play on a DVD Player.

I have read the guide on here & im just getting more & More confussed on what to do. lol

Get a CD-RW disk and spend a couple of hours screaming at your PC while you wait for the G&*DAMMM thing to finish AGAIN....

But seriously, what type of problems are you having, the guide are filrly stright forward. Nobody is jous going to walk you through it with out some more information as to why they guides are not working for you.,

use VCDgear to convert the DAT file to Mpg(VCD) then use nero to burn the Mpg as VCD.

If you have an mpeg file, I think the easiest way is to get a copy of ULEAD DVD MovieFactory. Allows you to select the file, create a menu, and burn the VCD.

There is a free trial at their website www.ulead.com

Burning a VCD is not that hard. If you have a whatever.DAT then just rename it to whatever.MPG, thats all you have to do for the "conversion", although its not really much of one. To burn, just goto www.nero.com and download the lastest version. In nero select "Burn VCD" drag you little video file in, Nero checks to see if its complient, then just press "Burn". Whala.
