Hello! I want to know if it is possible to do this text effect or something similar.

I was having trouble with color/luminescence flickering in the attached video clip, and it turns out it was the bit depth.
Switching from x264_8bpp encoder to x264_10bpp resolved the issue.

Is it my LCD display that causes this issue?
If both video clips look normal on your end, or both are flickering, then maybe the issue is bit depth support?

Edit: Finally resolved the issue by changing chroma subsampling to i444
Edit: The issue is gone, 8-bit i420 video now renders correctly. The culprit was the previous direct show output on MPC-HC.

For some reason, videos with i444 subsampling give wrong dimensions in Windows Explorer. Indicating 1920x1072 when the video is 1920x1080.
I have the Icaros app, so that may also play a role. Thumbnail generation appears normal.

Add text. Check "1char1obj." Add Animation effect>Scale coordinate and set the X to go from a lower value to a higher one using Ease out. Then you can add a displacement map with scaling and fiddle with it for better results.

Hi, does anyone know how to optimize my Aviutl? It starts to slow down when I add effects. It slows down when I edit the video, but it doesn't affect exporting. Is there a special setting for this?
I really want to keep using it all the time.

My laptop is an i5 6th gen, 8GB RAM, and W10.

Some effects are heavy, and most of them does not use GPU, so just try to keep effects at minimum.
Another general way is keeping your raw material size (resolution) down.

but honestly, in 2025, you should consider moving to DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut
