VCDEasy Menu Still question

Trying to make SVCD menus with VCDEasy. I'm using a 640x480 image, but the final size is 704 x 480. Even with 4/3 correction and 4% cropping it's still projecting too wide on the tv and cutting off alot of the edges. Any suggestions?

The way I usually make my menu/title stills is to put everything inside a 512x384 area in the center of a 704x480 image. Or rather I create a 512x384 image and do my editing, then resize (not scale) the image to 704x480 and fill the border. It comes out about right on my TV, even though it seems to have worse overscan than most.
