A while ago, someone mentioned capturing video in 480x480 with the Xtasy Everything card. It isn't possible with the CD driver or the driver on the company's British web site. The closest available resolution is 640x480, and that takes a lot more disk space.
Is there some way to capture at this resolution, or was someone horribly mistaken? (Incidentally, the card's video is several magnitudes cleaner than my old ATI TV Wonder VE. Sadly, its supplied software and stuff is just as limited as ATI's.)

Capture using Virtual Dub. In the capture avi section for Virtual Dub there is a settings, where you can 'set custom format'. If you set that to 480x480 it works just fine. Of course you can only capture to .avi this way.
As for capturing with built in WinDVR to 480x480 you can't, it's a software limitation. The card can do it, the software won't. You could just capture at smething higher like 720x480 then use TMPGEnc to resize the video to SVCD at 480x480.
