It's ok, but you have to run all 32 bit versions of the plugins and the host programs (eg. Virtualdub)

Upgrading to Avisynth Plus is recommended I would think by now, it offers to backup the previous setup and it works well.
Then you have a choice of running in a 32 or 64 bit environment

Probably best to install mediainfo and keep the icon on your desktop, then it's easy to use by dragging and dropping the files onto it

    Will change to AviSynth+ 64bit.

  3. A workaround is ConvertToYV12(interlaced=true) after avisource

But interlaced RGB is quite rare. What is your source file from originally? Why is it RGB ? Commonly there are errors with interlaced subsampled YUV<=>RGB conversions , chroma errors if it's not handled properly upstream

  4. Remember you told me that Lagarith could be opened with AVISource?
I am happy to save any file to Lagarith before any process.

I converted a video to Lagarith for the test!

Does QTGMC need TemporalSoften for my use?
Is it posible to disable the use of TemporalSoften in QTGMC?

If not, how does the conversion compare with saving as Lagarith YV12 from the start. Same thing?

  5. As you will guess, I would like the file in RGB format from start if posible

Is that your starting format ? Is it interlaced RGB to begin with? I'm concerned about errors even before your conversion or tests

What is your original original source ? Before everything

It's not necessary to save to lagarith before a test, I must be missing something ?

What is your original, original format ? Before you converted to some lagarith avi

    Yes, QTGMC needs TemporalSoften

YV12 is worse, because it's subsampled. It's was a workaround to get the script working

If you're starting with RGB, you would need the intermediate pixel format to be YUV444P10 (10bit 444 YUV) to be truly lossless (to satisfy the QTGMC step) to/from 8bit RGB, assuming you're exporting RGB as well for the final

    I am taking a break.

You are sure to be nice person, but you are screwing my head.

You seem to be missing most of what I am saying.
The best solution is to open in original interlaced AVI format, deinterlace, then save as Lagarith.

    Yes, having a break

  8. Very few AVI formats are interlaced RGB (99.99% of "original interlaced AVI" are YUV) to begin with. There are "red flags" in your posts that suggest other possible issues

Lagarith supports several pixel formats. But if you converted it incorrectly in the first place your errors will propogate and your tests not very useful

If you answer some of the earlier questions, it would help . I don't ask question for fun. They are very specific to problem solving

Or don't answer them, it's up to you.
