I found "mkvtoolnix-64-bit-59.0.0" and it worked beautifully to remove. Then I looked for a program to PUT the correct subtitles back in. It says "MKVMERGE" is good for MKV videos. BUT, looked at lots of sites but none with a 'DOWNLOAD' button I could I find. Suggestions?
And for REMOVING and adding new 'subtitles' back in for the rest? AVI, MP4....?
THANK YOU.

You already have it, mkvmerge is included in mkvtoolnix.
Try the site for documentation: https://mkvtoolnix.download/
There are also plenty of how-tos on youtube.
