Hello my friends. Could someone help me, please?
I'm looking to download some videos, but as the site doesn't have a playlist, I copied link by link of the files and I would like to use youtube-dl to download file by file, using a list of urls inside a .txt file with a title defined by me.
But I have already looked at several sites and did not understand anything.
To add the title that I defined, I tried the following:
Inside the folder of the .txt file I used the command:
youtube-dl -a Zoo.txt
But I get the error:
file contents (Zoo.txt)
Note: I used the same links just for testing.
Note²: I know I did something wrong, but without help I don't know how to proceed.
'test.mp4' https://dcs-vod.apis.anvato.net/vod/p/session/master.m3u8?i=i177602563-n7581d033-abb2-...e7bffc067de4fa

Is there any way to download a link per link with a name I define?
Please give me examples, as I was unable to understand anything about the sites I visited.
Appreciate!

Or use youtube-dl's built in batch list:

 list.txt:
 youtube-dl command line:Code:https://dcs-vod.apis.anvato.net/vod/p/session/master.m3u8?i=i177602563-n7581d033-abb2-4527-abca-174e5ea8eaf7&anvtrid=wa24da8ff919ae5ef5e7bffc067de4fa https://dcs-vod.apis.anvato.net/vod/p/session/master.m3u8?i=i177602563-n7581d033-abb2-4527-abca-174e5ea8eaf7&anvtrid=wa24da8ff919ae5ef5e7bffc067de4fa https://dcs-vod.apis.anvato.net/vod/p/session/master.m3u8?i=i177602563-n7581d033-abb2-4527-abca-174e5ea8eaf7&anvtrid=wa24da8ff919ae5ef5e7bffc067de4fa
 Code:youtube-dl -o "%%(title)s.%%(ext)s" --batch-file list.txt

I did this, but all files have the same name. "master-master.m3u8" and youtube-dl does not duplicate the files, it downloads the first file with the name "master-master.m3u8" and replaces the first with the second, and the second with the third and so on. Since I can't download the files with their proper names, I would like to download them all one by one with the batch, but as they all have the same name. I can't download them all.

	Use the Autonumber option.

 https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/blob/master/README.md#output-template

That will prevent it from overwriting files. You may still have to rename them with descriptive names.

	Batch file:

 @echo of
 youtube-dl URL -o 1.ts
 youtube-dl URL -o 2.ts
 youtube-dl URL -o 3.ts ...
-
	Once again, use autonumber:

I verified this works by downloading the same video three times. The names included a 5 digit number with leading zeros, starting at 00001, and incremented with each download.Code:youtube-dl -o "%%(title)s.%%(autonumber)s.%%(ext)s" --batch-file list.txt Last edited by jagabo; 1st Feb 2021 at 20:48.

I tested it with youtube videos, and it worked. But the videos are muted. With other sites, the name remains the same "mater-master.mp4" does not change in any way

This command didn't work for me either. I tried everything and it didn't work. I found the solution on github after checking over 30 topics with similar questions

This was the command that worked:

 (youtube-dl -o %%NAME.mp4 "LINK")

It doesn't work by adding autonumber, but it works by adding the name to the file. I can use a batch list with the names I want.

Thank you for your help. Sorry for any inconvenience.
