ok.. just wondering..
if i have VCD standard MPEG files (ie 352 x 240, 29.97fps etc), can I put these onto DVD-R without re-encoding them?
I have a couple of TV shows on VCD format spread over a few discs, I'd like to collect them all together on 1 or 2 DVD-R's.
any ideas?

Yes you can, but you will need to convert the audio to 48Khz and author as DVD-video. Take a look here:
