    what's the name of the wireless card that you have installed in your computer ??
    you might also try connecting your computer via eithernet port and bridge connections to another computer
    or connect a cellular phone with a USB cable and tether to your computer.

  6. Recently just built a Ryzen system "3900XT CPU" in a "x570" board and had issues with booting and getting the USB mouse and keyboard to work at the windows setup like some of the others. Spent afew hrs and finally figured it out.

    I'll post this complete ready to burn to USB image for the others having an issue. Uses the win10 setup that looks & feels like win7 so it has all the new support built in, plus a properly built boot.win to support AMD.
    Full Image -> http://www.mediafire.com/file/aa0mm7488mt5f5y

    Here are the individual .iso's that make up this full image;
    x64 Installer -> http://www.mediafire.com/file/7fiqtt5omkaq4tc
    These wims below go inside x64 Installer .iso file above and inside the sources folder;
    Boot wim -> http://www.mediafire.com/file/slk441q95r06r2n
    install wim -> http://www.mediafire.com/file/84wf1ql5di76q9e

    Here the Tool notes below I had to use in combination with Atak_Snajpera's tool otherwise it would not work.

    SiMPLiX_AiO_ISO_Full_Tool_2_2_20.8.13
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    MDL Win 7 Tool for SiMPLiX UpdatePack AiO ISO (with install.wim/esd) Creation v2.1

    What the tool does:

    - Extracts the source iso's
    - Creates an iso with boot.wim from win 10, acting and looking like win 7 and can handle install.esd (can only be used for clean installs from boot)
    - Inserts the correct ei.cfg
    - Inserts the $OEM$ folder in "iso:\sources" (Optional, only when you put files in the "OEM" project folder, the $OEM$ folder will be copied to the "ISO\Sources\" folder)
    - Extracts and adds DaRT 7 to winre.wim
    - Integrates universal USB3.x drivers in winre.wim and install.wim too.
    - Integrates nVME drivers in winre.wim and install.wim
    - Integrates (W)Lan drivers in Winre.wim and Install.wim
    - Uses Simplix updatepack for updating install.wim
    - Integrates Smartfix by Simplix (optional)
    - Creates all other/desired sku's* from the Win 7 MSDN RETAIL source ISO
    - Compresses the install.wim to install.esd if desired (optional)
    - Saves the ISO.

    The saved iso is capable of:

    - Legacy BIOS (x86 & x64) and UEFI booting (x64 and needs CSM enabled)
    - Boots on USB3.x ports
    - Contains MS DaRT 7** (package nicked from MSMG Toolkit)
    - Fits on FAT32 formatted USB keys (boots UEFI and Legacy BIOS)
    - Fits on standard DVD5
    - Has all the benefits and options Simplix UpdatePack offers

    The saved iso is NOT capable of:

    - ISO can't be used for upgrades

    * List of the created SKU's:

    x86:
    - Starter
    - HomeBasic
    - HomePremium
    - Professional
    - Ultimate
    - Enterprise (no need to provide a win 7 Enterprise source ISO anymore!)

    x64:
    - Starter
    - HomeBasic
    - HomePremium
    - Professional
    - Ultimate
    - Enterprise (no need to provide a win 7 Enterprise source ISO anymore!)

    ** MS DaRT 7 is released with 11 LP's, the script will check what language the source ISOs are, if there isn't a LP available for your language, it uses en-US.

    How to use:

    IMPORTANT!!! To be able to run this project on Win 7 host OS, you need to install 8.1/10 ADK (dism tools) Non-Insider Preview!!!
    Win 7 VL ISOs can't be used and Win 7 Enterprise ISOs neither, only the Win 7 MSDN RETAIL ISOs are supported as source ISO!!!

    - On 7 Host, install 19041 ADK: http://software-download.microsoft.com/download/pr/19041.1.191206-1406.vb_release_amd64fre_ADK.iso

    - Put a windows 10 ISO (i use 2016 LTSB***) in the "SOURCE_ISOs\10.." folder (x64 ISO in the x64 folder and x86 ISO in the x86 folder)
    - Put a windows 7 ISO (MSDN Ultimate) in the "SOURCE_ISOs\7.." folder (x64 ISO in the x64 folder and x86 ISO in the x86 folder)
    - Put the desired drivers in their folders (i provided some inside the project folders)
    - Put the desired files inside the "OEM" folder (use this folder structure "$oem$\$$\Setup\Scripts\")
    - Put the most current Simplix UpdatePack inside the "EXE" folder
    - Put the desired Addons**** (.WA) inside the Appropriate "Addons_x64" or "Addons_x86" folder (when desired), all current ones are included
    - Change the SiMPLiX.bat file, option Spectre/Meltdown switch to your satisfaction (by default it's set to: /FixOFF, to enable change to /FixON)

    And last but not least:
    - Run the appropriate cmd (x86 or x64) to create the desired SiMPLiX updated win 7

    *** When a windows 10 source iso <1803 is used, the eula will show Enterprise, when enterprise is installed. When the win 10 source iso is 1803 or newer, it will show the Professional eula during setup, when Enterprise is installed!
    **** The current supported addons (by abbodi1406) are (using UpdatePack7R2-19.4.10.exe and up):

    - DirectX_June2010_x64.WA
    - DotNetFx48_date_x64.WA (+LP, when needed)
    - vcredist_x64_Win7_date.WA
    - (and for x86, their x86 equivalents)

    For when something goes wrong, I've added a Project Cleanup script, it will unmount any still mounted wim and clean all temp folders, the project creates.

    -Can I suggest providing a changelog with updates please

    -Also could you update the provided installer with this one, will help people with an AMD system alot better, provide better support and reduce the size of your archive from 1.8gb to 29.7mb. I only made a x64 http://www.mediafire.com/file/7fiqtt5omkaq4tc

  10. Can someone help me find win7 drivers for the Bluetooth® 5.0 and WiFi on this x570 motherboard?
    https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/ROG-Crosshair-VIII-Hero-WI-FI/

    I have searched high and low no luck. And no the "universal" Bluetooth drivers provided here do not work. Had to disable Bluetooth in the bios and not use the WiFi for now.

    Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200
    Supports channel bandwidth: HT20/HT40/HT80/HT160
    2 x 2 Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) with MU-MIMO supports dual frequency band 2.4/5GHz
    Up to 2.4Gbps transfer speed

    The last option, I might have to install a VM of win10 then extra the drivers and modify to work on win7 if possible.

    Hey Pir8,

    Just a couple of comments....I doubt that Atak will NEVER post change-logs to this, as he never has for his other "project", Ripbot264...you'll have to suss it out for yourself.

    Also, WHY, WHY, WHY do you persist with using an ancient OS as W7.....99% of vendors just don't support it anymore, and it's NOT going to get any better !!

    I "tried" W7, a year or so back using all this stuff here, and it just didn't do it for me...I just like W10.

    And have you tried or heard of :- https://www.station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8&Itemid=130&lang=en

    If you can't find what you need there, you probably won't find it anywhere....good luck, you'll need it

    tried/know about that site too, its not a matter of getting the drivers for w7 it's getting them made for win7 which they don't so as it stand now either someone that mods drivers can do it or i kiss the WiFi good bye if i use win7.

    I'm 40 and tried both OS's I just like win7 been using it since it came out in 2009, win10 is great just afew things they need to change.

    if your using win10 i recommend using these with it.

    The last option, I might have to install a VM of win10 then extra the drivers and modify to work on win7 if possible.
    see here for the wireless & bluetooth drivers - https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-Crosshair-VIII-Hero/HelpDesk_Download/
    their for windows 10 64 bit.

    you may want to look on youtube, - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=install+windows+7+wireless+driver
    plenty of tutorials on how to install wireless drives on windows 7.

    you linked to what i already posted, to the Asus site! also those "youtube" videos don't show any useful info. sorry bud! it's way beyond that "general" stuff.

    Hey Pir8,

    Well, I'm 63, and I use to like W7, back in the day, then W8, W8.1, etc, etc...(I've tried them all, since W95) I've just "gone with the flow".

    Like I mentioned I DID try Atak's W7, but as you're finding out, there just isn't the support for the latest & greatest hardware

    I am running W10 2004 (with whatever the latest update build number is)

    I do use several of the items you suggested, but I didn't know about the "Remove All User Folders", I'll give that a shot, 8GadgetPack is great, nLite is great, too, especially if you have several PC's you want to setup the same.

    What is your main use of your PC(s) ??

    Cheers

  20. Now were getting too far off topic; it's an all purpose build, surf, game, stream etc.. I have win7 running just fine on it supporting everything but the WiFi, and well no M$ store of course. Don't need the onboard WiFi anyways so whatever, and the M$ store ,... well lets just say I never pay for software,, ever. It's also dual booting to win10. I knew better then to even touch win8.x junk. and didn't use 10 till it was refined.

    WOW, wasn't expecting a list of your build, but that's pretty impressive, can't really relate to the prices, as I'm in Australia...

    I just recently built a Ryzen 3950X system, but all I needed to buy was the CPU, MB, RAM & 360mm Rad...had everything else...I have dozens of pc's & servers, just gathered over the years, just mix & match to suit my needs.

    Unfortunately, I haven't much used the 3950X, yet.

    Cheers

    try this - turn on your computer press F2 goto your BIOS

    Than goto Advance Select ATA Instead Of AHCPI Save the setting then try to reboot Your Win 7 - https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/ACPI-compliant-error-while-tr...L/td-p/3797449
