I have wav's normalized with wavegain on suse. I've install ubuntu. There is no wavegain package on it. I use normalize-audio on ubuntu.
user@1201HA:/home/Clips$ normalize-audio wavegain_item.wav
Computing levels...
wavegain_item 100% done, ETA 00:00:00 (batch 100% done, ETA 00:00:00)
Applying adjustment of 5,49dB to wavegain_item.wav...
wavegain_item 100% done, ETA 00:00:00 (batch 100% done, ETA 00:00:00)
I would like normalize wav's with normalize-audio to the same audio level as wavegain before. May I obtain that?

as a side note, since I have never used wavegain or normalize-audio: sox (http://sox.sourceforge.net/) might be worth a look (http://sox.sourceforge.net/sox.html)
