VirtualDub was used to capture 480 x 480 Huffyuv and Premiere was used to trim the file. An export from Premiere using Huffyuv again only gave snow and no video. 100% was not possible to select. What's up?
The video did export using ATI yuv9. Am I gonna hafta change the codec?

Nevermind. The 'D' drive is a raid and I had read from and exported to it. When I used the 'C' drive to write to it was just fine and the file sizes were exactly the same.
Glad to see that Huffyuv will be OK to use in Premiere.

I can't get it to work again. Every time I try to export using Huffy from Premiere all I get is snow even when I capture to Raid D and export to C. When I change the codec it works. When I resize the export it works, that is staying with the Huffyuv codec, 704 resized down to 352 did work. An export at the same size does NOT work using Huffyuv in Premiere.
    Why is that.
My previous success must have been a fluke.

    Thanks for the reply.
I want to make my 1999 little boy in the park movie so I'm going to capture using VCD-1 this time instead of Huffyuv. It should all fit into one file that way and I'll avoid the hassle of the jjoining of svcd units and the resultant "bleeps" . Nero doesn't like the repaired svcd.

The Huffyuv author was sent an e-mail reporting this problem about the snow on same size exports.
