  1. I asked in the other forum and didnt get a reply, I want to burn multiple mpeg1 (vcd files) to one dvd-r. Right now I have them in mpeg 1 format m1v file and mpa file. How do I burn it with my writer using spruce up or maybe another program whatever works best. Im new at this and I dont know how to author, chapters and menus arent that important I just want the video only. What is a good burning program to use I have nero but I dont think you can make vcd on dvd-r with that.

  2. There are multiple ways to approach your questions. Opinions will very, but the following is what I have done. You can find guides on this website to help with the steps I outline.

    1. Use TMPGEnc to mulitplex your file. (Join Audio and Video into one file)
    2. Re-encode it to a DVD standard. (There are a few choices)
    3. Take the new DVD compliant MPEG file into Spruce Up. Spruce Up can take your MPEG and turn it into DVD compliant files. fyi.. You can add multiple MPEGs and create a DVD style menu. I let it create a title set, rather than let it burn it itself.
    4. Take the files created in the title set (IFOs, etc..) and burn them to a DVD-R or RW (if your player supports it) using NERO.

Again, look under the Author Guides, they are a great help.

    Good Luck.
