I am trying to convert Antitrust dvd rip (avi) to mpg. I use tmpgen and it converts to a 2.38gig mpg wit no audio. The whole movie is there plus 115mins of black screen & no audio. Lovly.... I say. I then went to the trusty virtual dubblige. rip the wav... then load it on tmpgen with the source video file. I press the lucky start button and walla........ out of sync audio. I have created a read lips hear later vcd... I love it. What can I do?

Have you tried frameserving it from VirtualDub? This seems to help with audio sync problems, and should guarantee that the audio will in fact be there.

Try to increase the priority of direct show multimedia plugin under environment setting / plugin. This worked for me.
