I was wondering if there are any Linux-compatible video players that have advanced video filters/effects as in MPC-HC+Klite codec (FFDShow video filters).
I use FFDShow because the video decoder has access to lots of great filters for post-processing, unlike LAV decoder.
Is there a way to install FFDShow in linux? Or failing that, are there media players that have advanced video post processing filters?
VLC filters are decent but not as good as FFDshow.
Thanks in advance.

There's no native Linux version of ffdshow, and the results at the Wine app database aren't encouraging ...
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=11209
... because anything there rated less than Gold isn't going to run properly and that's rated Garbage. There are other similar apps to Wine like PlayOnLinux and Crossover, but they're just different GUI front ends for WIne and aren't likely to work better.
The Linux video player with the best rendering performance I've ever tried, by far, is SMPlayer, which was also my default in Windows. If you're running a distro as new as Ubuntu 16.04 it uses mpv as a back end but I install mplayer for a back end. It's what they used to use and I understand mplayer settings a lot better. But if you have a newer video card mpv may be better because it's updated more. gnome-mplayer or gnome-mpv are also good, even faster but nowhere near as full featured. I've never needed to do a ot of tweaking of filters with smplayer.
