Suddenly lost sound from my PC speakers in Ace Player. Works fine over SP/DIF to my receiver.
Rebooted & Reinstalled latest Ace Player, tried all possible combinations in Ace Player audio preferences and Win 7 audio settings but Ace player simply won't talk to my PC speakers.
No problems at all with PC speakers in VLC (portable), MPC-HC or WMP - they all work fine.
Anyone got any ideas, please?
Edit - a day later it's fixed. I casually clicked on the mute button next to the volume control and the red cross icon came on. I clicked again and it went off and the sound worked. Strange.

Hi, I am having the same issue but your solution did not fix it in my case. Do you know anything more on this topic?

Sorry hari15 it was so long ago and i've not had the same problem since. I put it down to one of those unexplained glitches, which is of no use to you i'm afraid. I sould start a new thread and someone more knowledgeable may be able to help you.
