    Hi!

I own Startech PEXHDCAP which allows to capture video up to 1920x1080 16:9 from HDMI, DVI, VGA and Component input.

My problem began when I got new device which requires 1920x1200 16:10.
Capturing I must downscale, but it's visible quality loss.

I was searching for any capture card, but found only very precious solutions.

    What I need to help?
PEXHDCAP I bought 'cause it recommended me users on this forum.
    So, I'm again asking you.

Any capture card up to 1920x1200 by HDMI, VGA, Composite and S-Video (CV a SV requires not upscaling) in price up to 150 €...
    Exist any solution?

    Thank you all.

Your budget is very unrealistic for the feature set, I'm afraid. A Magewell device that only captures HDMI, but does it at 1200p60, is $300.

Adding the VGA requirement takes you to $350, without even thinking about CVBS & S-Video: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1172611-REG/epiphan_esp0909_av_io_hd_usb_3_0.html

    Other solutions are $900+.

By a $300 Magewell card, did you mean the Magewell Pro Capture HDMI? Looking at the specs, it appears there is a chance that Magewell Pro Capture HDMI may support capturing 1920x1200@60fps from HDMI. It doesn't allow VGA capture, but it is supposed to be able to capture analog component video, S-Video and CVBS via a breakout cable.

Hm, with my possibilities I don't have so many money.
Is possible to get any card with one input only (no matter if VGA, HDMI, DVI) which allows capture up to 1920x1200?

All the devices I have seen which can capture 1920x1200 video at 60fps are well beyond your budget.

Thanks. I didn't realize that Magewell had released a new and improved version of the original Magewell XI100DUSB-HDMI.
