    I'm capturing DV type 1 via firewire and creating AVIs which play fine. When I add them to Media Studio 6.0 to edit, the audio develops intermittent high pitched beeps - these can also be seen on the audio time line.

    Is there any fix for this?

    Sorted.....Convert AVIs from type 1 to type 2.
