I'm having audio sync problems with TMT5 and Blu-ray discs - to give one example, Star Trek II - the movie itself plays just fine, no audio sync problems at all. However, when I play the extras (documentaries, interviews) the audio sync frequently goes out of sync - best way to restore it (briefly) is to pause then play.

However, I also have PowerDVD11 on my PC and that doesn't exhibit any audio sync problems at any time.

For various reasons I generally prefer TMT5, except for this audio sync problem.

Any ideas on a fix please?

On-board video? If you only have 1GB system RAM, that's not really enough, even for XP, especially if you have on-board video which can use a fair bit of RAM.

But usually extras on BD discs are stereo and DVD quality, so you shouldn't have playback problems with them. Not sure why TMT would have those problems. I use TMT3 and haven't tried TMT5. Never had sync problems though.

No onboard video (well, there is but it's disabled). I have a separate video card, an ATI Radeon XFX 6850 - as mentioned, no audio sync problems with PowerDVD11, so it must be TMT5 at fault.

Unless someone comes back with a solution, I think you're either going to have contact Arcsoft's technical support or see if there is an Arcsoft forum somewhere where someone might know what is going on.

I've asked tech support and on the forum, (admittedly only a few hours ago, so no reply yet).
