Ive got FF piping to SOX, and SOX piping to FF just fine, processing audio only of course..
but a new project Im working on I cant get to work.. I can post an example but Ive toyed with the coding so many times its not like the original.
Condition: HBCLI will not read AVS/AviSynth files...
I am wanting to pipe from ffmpeg -> handbrakecli
Would anyone have an example of working (win32) command line?
TIA-
Andrew

It will through avfs (ie. a mounted "virtual" avi file)
I am wanting to pipe from ffmpeg -> handbrakecli
But what are you doing that requires handbrake? If you have an avs, why not use ffmpeg or x264 or x265 directly ? or qsvenc if you wanted quicksync -
Since HB doesnt take pipe in, that explains why Im not having success.
I like the output of HB, it does a really good job. Ive had some problems with the quality of audio running FFMPEG and the AAC encodeing in MP4, there seams to be some crackle in some parts of it. Running Zero download of FF.
Id run AVFS if I could execute it from the command line, but Ive not found a CLI version of a wrapper to date...
Thanks for your response!
