  2. What do you mean by "fix"? And to what end?

i have raw avi video files to join but when trying to join in virtual dub it says "video stream do not share the same sample rate.

    first stream 25.004000 samples/secs
    second stream 25.0025 samples/secs

    i want to fix it.

  4. AviFrate will let you change the frame rates in the AVI headers. Make backups first as AviFrate changes the selected AVI file. I'd try changing both to 25 fps and see if audio stays in sync.

If you don't want to change them in place use VirtualDub. Open a video. Select Video -> Direct Stream Copy. Go to Video -> Frame Rate and in the "Source Rate Adjustment" field enable "Change Frame Rate To" and set the desired rate. The File -> Save as AVI to create a new AVI file with the rate.
