What settings in the BIOS will be restored to default? I'm not sure if mine are default.
Does it effect your hdds, optical drives setup etc?
Just curious before I change mine.
Thanks

What model motherboard you have?
you can see in Speccy :
-
It will resert your time to the default settings of your motherboard plus enable the onboard audio and a few other settings,if you didn't do a custom setting before then all you need to do set the right clock time after.
The only other thing that can happen is if you have 2 hdd then it will default to the first hdd and if your o/s is on the second hdd then you will have to set it in the bios to boot from the 2nd hdd.I think, therefore i am a hamster. -

Here's a ...... For what its worth.
I'm not speaking about your motherboard, but I remember one motherboard gave you like 30 seconds to change your battery and be able to keep your settings. -
My asus 1155 mb would keep my settings even after talking out the battery for at least an hour, only way i could reset the bios was to manually short the bios leads.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
