  1. Hi everyone, signed up just to make this post. It's a mystery to me.

    I use software called ManyCam to live stream my webcam, and record videos. This has worked fine for more than a year.

    Last week I did my usual, then went to edit the video captured to find it showed audio wave things, but no audio would play. I tried Quicktime, WMP, audacity and VLC.

    I tried converting the file to various other types, that seems to wipe all traces of the audio. Can anyone help me?

    Post the complete log from mediainfo, view->text and copy everything.

    So you see "audio wave things" in audacity? BUt still silence? Checked all your computer sound settings?

  3. My friend tried it in audacity, said there was no audio. It's a video I was editing using windows movie maker. That's where I saw the wave things (I'm sorry, I've no idea what they're called)

    All other audio on my PC works fine. What settings am I checking exactly?
