I'm trying to burn a dvd from my VIDES_TS files. I've looked up videos and tutorials. I think I'm doing everything correct, however I keep getting and error message.

Attached is the Error Log I get from Nero. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

These are the contents in my VIDEO_TS folder:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_02_0.BUP
    VTS_02_0.IFO
    VTS_02_1.VOB

Don't burn with nero, just open the dvd folder with imgburn and click to burn,if you get any messages from imgburn to change settings let it do it,if tells you that it's not a proper video folder then you need to fix it.

I posted the files in my folder. I followed the instructions from Imgburn and no success.

    1) Burn the folder, not just the files in the folder.
    2) Use ImgBurn
    3) Stop using Ritek/RiData-made discs.
    4) How many gigabytes is this VIDEO_TS folder?

    I added the folder

    2) Use ImgBurn

I tried a few times. It stops. Trying to get some error code to post here.

    3) Stop using Ritek/RiData-made discs.

    4) How many gigabytes is this VIDEO_TS folder?

Using Imgburn, here's my steps, error, and log.

    Open Imgburn > Mode > Build > Output > DVD drive > Browse > selected VIDEO_TS folder > Select Folder > Build

These screen shots are what appeared in order. ImgBurn Log attached, which may include a few attempts.

The ImgBurn log says that the blank is now an "MCC" disc, which is normal for many Verbatims.
Are you trying to burn the same exact disc over and over? Have you tried just grabbing another disc from the stack?

Open the folder in VLC or another player to test it to see if the structure is intact.

Then it's your drive or your discs. When drives (start to) die they do most things perfectly normally but refuse to cooperate while doing one or two tasks. ImgBurn is bulletproof and has been proven as bulletproof time and time again for a VERY long time.

Ok. I will go out and buy a new pack of disks. I have a brand new Alienware laptop. Only a few months old, so I'd be surprised if it was the drive.
I'll report back. Thanks for the help!

Also check for different/new/updated drivers for the drive. Who knows what putting components into an Alienware "package" can do?
