    I know this may sound stupid but to burn a converted mpeg file from tmpeg using their dvd encoder. do i have to have a dvdrw drive or do i just have to have the dvdrw disk. I am going to burn it with Nero(if that matters)

    You'll need both to be able to burn a DVDR.
