  1. hi

i've browsed through the forum to find a solution for my problem, but can't find anything that have helped.

i have nvidia geforce4 ti 4600, and i'm trying to capture avi from vhs, but i can't get any picture. it's just black. i've tried with virtual dub and adobe premiere. and i've installed wdm drivers. i'm using a s-video cable. i've tried everything i can think of...

    any ideas? i'd be grateful..

Do you have a signal coming through your SVideo cable? Try plugging it onto a TV and see if you get a picture.

Ensure that you have selected the SVideo port as the video source for the capture. Most capture cards will default to RF or Composite.

  3. yes.. the s-video cable works with tv-out. and i have selected s-video in the settings..

although, i noticed now that in adobe premiere in the capture settings.. i have selected nvidia wdm and s-video.. but below it says driver name: logitech usb video camera. so logically i'd think there should be another driver there? are there some additional drivers i need to install?
