  2. Make sure your player can read CDRs and CDRWs, not all players can. And then make sure it can play VCDs. Just because it says it can play them doesnt mean all that much because what "VCD Compatible" means is that it can play commercial ones that are pressed like CDs or DVDs, not neccessarily burned ones. It means it understand the VCD format not that it will understann any media(disc) that they format is on.

    I am in the same boat and thought I might add my proplems also, to save time and effort on a new thread ,

    Using Pinnicale studio 7 I created an MPEG using the default VCD settings
    I then drag and drop this MPEG file using NERO into Video CD window and burn.

    But nothing on a; CDR, CD RW compatable DVD player.

    Are there known bugs;
    with Nero 4.0.7.1? or Pinnicale studio 7

    Sorry if I've stepped on your toes Luciano

  4. Hi welcome to the forum!

    Your dvd should be able to play VCD with CDRW alright (you can check complatible here http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php). So How did you burn VCD with NERO? What version is it? Can you try to burn VCD with something else like VCDImager to create bin/cue file? Oh have you ever try to play this brand of CDRW with your player? You can try to burn audio cd into this cdrw brand and play in your player.
