  1. Hi,

I've been using Xmedia Recode for the past few years now. Here's a new issue that Im experiencing. For the past few versions till the latest 3.1.7.8.
    1. When I use Audio Copy mode to convert any video with any audio(AC3, AAC or DTS), the resulting .mkv file is not seekable
on standalone players. Never had this issue with Xmedia Recode before.
    2. When I use Video Convert or Copy mode and convert AAC to AC3(or other formats) the channels are messed up.
    3. When I use Video Convert or Copy mode and convert any audio(including DTS) to DTS the resulting audio is mute.

Only non-AAC audio conversion to AC3 works perfectly.

Do you have any alternative software as good as Xmedia Recode that handles audio perfectly?

    Use an older version?

Maybe you can try MediaCoder. But I don't like the interface.

I've started using a portable version of Xmedia Recode 3.1.18 for audio recodes, re-muxing etc. which creates proper AV files that Play / Seek well on Standalone players

Meanwhile, I continue to use the latest version for Video recoding with audio & subs in copy mode as the encoding is 1.5x faster.
