  1. I am doing the usual conversion from MKV to MP4 for PS3 playback. Having some trouble where the source files have DTS audio. Xmedia Recode is producing unreadable files. I am unable to playback on VLC or MPC.

for Video, I select Video Copy

    for Audio, I select Convert, AC3, 48000, 5.1, Constant bitrate, 640

I am however able to use PS3Muxer to produce a usable m2ts with the same source file. But I would prefer to use Xmedia to produce MP4s

    Any advice?

I would try mkvtomp4 and see if it works better with the dts audio.
