Need help to make a VCD

I used TMPGenc to try to convert a Divx\AVI to make a VCD I downloaded Divx codecs but when ever I try to make a VCD it comes up with a "unsupported media error" or something like that. I tried making a VCD with NERO also with a similar error. Can anyone help me? Am I doing this wrong? Thanks.

Unsupported, means you don’t have the codec for that movie.
Download and install the Nimo codec pack

In TMPGEnc also check your settings on DirectShow

Select options > environmental settings
click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
