    I was just wondering in that annoying newbie fashion if there is video converter software for the Macintosh? I've got some DivX movies I want to burn on the super drive, but can't convert 'em from .AVI format

    isn't there some program that emulates windows? could you use that to run tmpgenc?

    I wouldnt use an emulator. It will eat alot of the power needed for doing the video encode itself.
