I have a problem with my Subtitle Workshop. I can't see any videos in it while the audio is running in the background without any problems. I've always used Shark007's codecs and I've used to manage changing some settings to get those files (mostly AVI and MKV) working earlier. I have this recent version 4.18 and I can't get it working again... I've been trying and changing all settings, resetting to default, setting to Shark's recommended settings, but without success...

Maybe time to test a new subtitler like Subtitle Edit as Subtitle Workshop is no longer developed.

I've loaded subtitle and tried to load the video and it gave me this: There seems to be missing a codec (or file is not a valid video file)!
You need to install/update LAV Filters - DirectShow Media Splitter and Decoders: http://code.google.com/p/lavfilters/
NOTE: Subtitle Edit can also use VLC media player as built-in video player. See Options -> Settings -> Video Player
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Strange since all codecs are installed with Shark007's 4.2.0 pack and it's supposed to work. Do I really have to install VLC player in order to be able to try/use this program? I use only Media Classic Player and PotPlayer.
