  1. Hello everyone,

I am trying to convert videos of gameplay that I've recorded with MSI Afterburner to get a better file size and compression. I tried using MeGUI, but I'm having issues - the video speeds up at some point after the begining causing it to desync with the audio. Also the speed up is pretty obvious - even if the audio is off you can notice it clearly. Also it syncs back in at the end of the video. I'm using the one click interface of megui, only changed the bitrate for smaller file size and the container to mp4.

Here is some info from Mediainfo about the files recorded with MSI Afterburner:
    Code:

I would appreciate any help on the matter since I'm pretty green with anything related to video editing. Thank you for your time.

Edit: now that I've checked again, it slows down at some points, at other it is sped up.
Edit2: I have noticed that the framerate changes after the conversion, I guess this is the problem. But how can I set this up in MeGUI?

  2. It is converting fine with HandBrake. The only problem is that the quality of the image is noticably worse than the result with MeGUI, but at least there is no problem with the video. Id still appreciate it if someone can tell me how to fix the problem with MeGUI.

In MEGUI, load video using avisynt option: DirectShowSource instead AVIsource.

    Try RIPBOT264. If 720p, use 2pass 4-6k, if 1080p use 2pass 8-10k.
