  1. Hi Dears ...

Could Anyone Offer Me Which One I Should To Choose?
I Want To Convert HD Movies To BRRip Movies. I Choose the Option (Keep Original) But The Output Was 2 Channel and I Want The Same as Original (5.1)

    These Choices Give Me 5.1
MeGUI's offers "Upmix 2 to 5.1 via SuperEQ", "Upmix 2 to 5.1 via Sox equalizer adjustments", "and Upmix 2 5.1 with center channel dialog".

Which One Is Better Than The Other and I Have To Choose?

Any information would be helpful. Thanks

  3. I thought you said you want to keep the audio unchanged? None of the three choices you gave does that.

  4. If you selected "keep original" and the output was 2 channel then the original must have been 2ch. At least in theory...... Maybe try changing the -referred decoder in case there's something odd happening on the decoding side.

Mind you unless the original audio is DTS there's possibly not a lot of benefit to re-encoding the audio, in terms of file size. Not unless you re-encode using a fairly low bitrate or you do downmix to stereo. Let MeGUI extract the original audio while indexing (if need be) then use the AutoEncode button to add the original audio to MeGUI's output. If there's audio listed in the Audio section of MeGUI's main window, use the "X" button to remove it before using the AutoEncode button. When the AutoEncode window opens, there's a box to tick which gets MeGUI to add external audio or subtitles after encoding.

Personally I just use the Queue button under the Video section to add just the video encoding job to the job queue. When the encoding has finished I then use MKVMergeGUI to add the audio manually, or MeGUI has an MKV and MP4 muxer under the tools menu which you can use for the same purpose.
