Been using Winavi All In One Converter for a couple of years now and just recently the "Fit to Single 4.3 Gb DVD" works maybe 50% of the time. The DVD file it creates is either too small (2.9 Gb or smaller) or too big (4.8 Gb - 9Gb). Anyone else experiencing this ?

I used WInAvi a couple of times for small projects. Works great. Like you have a couple small AVI files, put them through winavi, no hassle.

For any serious project, it's unusable. You don't control the encoder and i don't think winavi itself really controls it's own encoder. Why the file is too big is probably because it doesn't handle (or doesn't want to handle) very low bitrates. Had the same problem with very long movies.

Now i use ffmpeg + dvd authoring program.
