On a fresh install of Win 7 Pro 64 from Newegg.com., will I need the "Windows OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK)" to install Windows? I know I can activate and register but am confused about needing an OPK. Will I be able to install and download drivers, etc. without this OPK? What exactly is the OPK?

it allows oem computers to have windows installed and ready to have the owner type in his name and be ready to boot.
you don't need it. you will do a complete install from the disc. best to only have a fresh un-formatted drive in the box. windows will do the rest.--
