Enhancing whispering sound in a very large (1.6 GB) .avi file

Hi,

I recorded a 2 hours web cam chat through BSR screen recorder. Its an .avi file. There is a 2 minutes section in that video where two people are whispering a little loudly but the audio is still not clear. You can catch a word here and there but cant really understand the entire conversation.

Is there a way I can enhance that whispering within the .avi file to be able to hear the entire 2 minute conversation clearly? I understand there are external softwares/websites that help with this kind of stuff but someone told u have to upload your video first there. Considering its a 1.6 GB video, I dont really know what to do. I am a total non techie guy and would love any easy solutions. If there are no easy way, I am willling to learn with tutorials so please guide on that as well. Thanks so much.
