I'm looking for a converter which can convert MKV video streams into the H264 format.
I used MakeMKV to create MKV files from a DVD.
Can anybody point me in the direction of such a converter?
Thanks,
Jordan

Try handbrake, xmedia recode and freemake video converter.

Best quality is go back to the source DVDs and convert from there to h264 If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.

Supposedly, MakeMKV creates an MKV from the source DVD/BD, without conversion/recompression, so converting from the MKV MakeMKV creates should theoretically be much like converting it from the original ripped DVD.

I haven't tried MakeMKV, though, so I can't be sure about that. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
