Mpe2Schnitt just seemed like the most intuitive program to me
I tried opening things with virtual dub yesterday, but realized that it doesn't support mpeg2. 2 minutes on google, i found virtualdub mod, so i'll get cracking tonight.

I hate to bump up my old thread, but it took me a while to get back to work on my video
I am trying to use what Wilbert wrote for AviSynth, and it doesn't seem like DeSpot is doing anything at all. How can i make sure that the plugin is working? I am doing a visual frame by frame comparisons, and there's no difference. The spots are still there.

I would start by searching the forums. Even just a short glance down the page would have given you this

I am looking to go into restoration work. I am not trained officially yet but I could probably help and give you a discounted price. If you mail me a copy I can clean up a little bit for you and you will have a sample of my work before you pay anything. I can't quote anything before I see how badly it is destroyed. Ah, the beauty of e-mail subscription. Can't believe it's been 5 years.
In case anyone's curious, I ended up giving up on restoration. I ended up just chopping up the video and making it into a chaptered DVD.

I know it is an older thread (just there is no post of the what happened before now), and I am not trying to scam it at all.Last edited by LightsandFilm; 28th Jun 2022 at 17:52.
