I have a DVD (store bought) that is a poor transfer of 25 fps film to 30 fps. The DVD doesn't have pulldown flags.
Can someone point me in a direction where I can find away to extract only the 25 fps footage from the DVD (into a avi file, divx, etc)
Before someone says it, i tried googling this but could find anything.![]()

in an AviSynth script should work. This assumes some knowledge of AviSynth, and it'll give you back 24.975fps. AviSynth is the only way to unblend those poor standards conversions. If you're not entirely sure of what you have, a small sample will be useful.
