  1. Hi!

Its been a long time since I did any dvd authoring. So I need something that is simple and effective to author movies that have been ripped to .avi to burn to dvd. Nothing fancy or if fancy then made easy. I dont even need chapters. Basically waht is the best all-in-one program to make dvds from .avis..

I know that if I search hard enough I will find a thread but there are so many different topics and frankly I am really short on time. i am being deployed and want to burn some dvds to take with.. So any help for a old but new noob will be appreciated.

Money is not an issue.. just tell me what is the best-thanks

These guys are pros. Simple and effective to them is hard and overly complicated to you and me.
I'd suggest you check out WinX DVD Author Free. It is so simple it is scary. Plug iin your AVI and out comes DVD. No frills at all.
I tried to use it with a group of chapter files and it is NOT good for that at all (IMHO). But for an AVI to DVD simple and effective, I'd say it is perfect.
