This is what's in the VIDEO_TS folder (there isn't another folder)

How do I get these files to play on my computer? I tried VLC, which normally works for everything, but no beans.

I can't convert it either (my computer overheats, even at low converting levels)

Thanks for helping out a youngin'

    I really appreciate it.

Open the IFO files in VLC (in your system they are currently marked DVD Movie Info). Or try Media Player Classic. Same gig - open the IFO files, not the VOB files. If they still don't play then you have either ripped them incorrectly, or your system is screwed.

If your CPU is overheating then you should open the case and clean out the dust. You can also leave the case open, aim a small desk fan directly into the guts, and leave it running while encoding.

Open VLC by itself. Then from the drop down menu open "File"--->"Open Directory" and navigate to the directory where your VIDEO_TS folder is stored.

This wasn't necessary with older versions of VLC.
