Hi
I just bought a Canon Vixia HF S30 camcorder and was setting up the recording speed to MXP but got the following message on the LCD screen. "Cannot create AVCHD disc that include scenes recorded in this format". Do I even have to be concerned with this? I'm currently using 2 64Gig SDXC cards.
I also noticed in the manual mention of using Cine Mode. Is there any advantage to using this?
Thanks
Ed

i guess only if you want to create avchd discs from the recorded material.
cine mode on most consumer canons reduces the brightness and color saturation to a closer to real level. for some ungodly reason most consumers think their video should "pop" garishly on the screen rather than being a true representation.--

I'm not keen on the "garish" colors so I'll opt for the Cine Mode.
Thanks
