Not sure which forum this should fall into, as encompasses several, reclassify if necessary...
I've been reading about the compatibility of CD-R/CD-RW discs with standalone Sony DVP-S530D DVD player, and it seems that most CD-RW media will work, but pretty much only the STI CD-R will work. Here are my questions:
1. Does one media provide a better quality than the other (R vs. RW)?
2. I'm planning on doing an exact copy of VCD using HP RecordNow v 3.1 software by Veritas, copying from CD-R read by Toshiba SD-M1502 DVD-rom (16x) and burning with Philips CDD4851 CD-R/RW (12x8x32)--does anyone know of any potential problems with this setup, with regard to using R, and having it play back on the above mentioned standalone player?
Thanks,
RL
